that’s not true. I have always inquired to talk to live agents in USCIS . I’m my husband’s beneficiary. so u can always inquire even though you’re not the petitioner.

if you are inquiring you need to make sure you use your I485 receipt number which is for the applicant. The I130 is for the petitioner and only the petitioner can check the status through Emma
