Not really. If you have green card or any other permanent residence you can back to US. The problem is to find an airline company from your country to US.

If u don't have residency how can u come back? To get in u must be green card holder, citizen (us passport holder) or any permit to get in the country. Like parole or permit visa

@josh I think maybe @Jay N is referring to the travel bans for example South Africa in the last 14 days. Advanced parole holders aren’t exempted from that presidential order I don’t think?

I see. The banned works only for tourists and non immigrants visas. If he have parole or any other authorization to live in US he can travel back. The problem is only to find an airline that is flying back from their country to US.

So, travel to another country that is not banned and then fly to the US. That's it.

There is no ban on Nigeria, I’m asking in the case that there is while I go home, will I have a problem coming back? my travel parole is only good for 30 days

You will have a problem if they add Nigeria to the list - you won’t be allowed back in the USA unless you go to another country for 14 days that isn’t on the list. but as you say, it’s not on the list at the moment

if you are the spouse of a US citizen you will be allowed back with an Advance parole

Unforunately, my husband is a green card holder not a citizen yet

@jay n. read the link on the proclamation I think a spouse of greencard holder is exempt too?

the last few proclamations for different countries have said that, so probably at a guess
