Emergency Advance Parole
Hi, I applied for an emergency advance parole for humanitarian reasons at my local office. which was approved and I received on the spot the approval form with my picture on it to allow me to return in USA. when I tracked the receipt number on the advance parole at the first day it said case was received at lockbox, at second day case was approved and at the fourth day case was transfer to another office.
Is that normal, anybody experienced this before?
I’m planning to travel next week

just travel using the emergency document, make sure it’s safe with you and put it in your carry on..
when you come back give the custom the copy that says to : transportation in the bottom.
make sure you come back on time of course.

airlines agents will ask you about it before you get your boarding pass coming back.
if they are not fimiliar with it, just ask for a supervisor and just let them know it’s an advance parole.
good luck

Naah, you can travel. You don’t have to stay if you have the advanced parole whether the original or emergency. the only risk to you is that your case is still being considered but if you do not stay out for too long, you should be fine.

Hey guys... I have a quick question that one of you might be able to educate me about. I have had an advance parole through TPS for Haiti, it has expired last February. I reregister for my TPS but did not renew my Advanced parole but just to find out from my lawyer the other day that I will have to exit the country and reenter in order to change status. yesterday I sent an application to USCIS to request for a renewal of my advanced parole. But today a friend told me since it's something urgent I could have gone to a near by immigration office to request that and they would issue it to me quickly rather than going to a normal process with USCIS. my question is this, would they consider helping getting it faster even though I already sent the application to USCIS? or what could be the best option for me ath this point. your response would be very much appreciated. Thanks🙏

I got mine under humanitarian reason under vawa , flying next week , I already looked at all the risks, valid for a year and multiple entries,if you have a clean record and no in removal procedures you should be fine , don’t stay out too long , carry the docs of your pending applications , I got my vawa on RFE received and my I-485 at biometrics applied

@Cristian Aguilera how long can someone stay outside US because I plan on staying out for 6 weeks

I’m not a lawyer , but for what I know you can stay 180 days combined or at once in a year , most lawyers recommend no more than 2 weeks each time , idk the reason behind that
