Email received with updates from USCIS
Hi all,
I received an email today saying « We have taken an action on your case », « Sign in to your account to view your case status ». And when I login, there’s nothing new in my account.
Does any of you know what happens?

VM D, thank you! that’s what I just found out online... it can take 1-2 days to be updated.
I actually received a RFIE last week and yesterday they received my updated documents (taxes 2020).
Not sure yet what the updates could be....

@immi usa, they were just saying the same usual generic answer to wait 60 days to get any information from them once they receive a RFE..... so not really helpful.

i also consulted emma as i had put expedite request for my case and they asked for evidences which i sent them 25 days ago but till now nothing received and just today this email stating there is action taken on your case

oh I think I know what you mean. yes I added manually all my cases there. I can see my i-765, i-131, i-485 and i-130... they only have two tabs tho

Hello All,
I submitted application for H4 extension along with EAD on March 9th,2021. Completed Biometric on May 7th and it’s pending since then. My current EAD is expiring on 8/16 and so I reached out to USCIS to expedite my request, the agent created a service ticket to get a call (within 72 hours) from Tier 2 officer on 8/4 7PM and on 8/5 7:15AM I received the two similar emails like “an action has been taken on your account please login and see details “ but when I login I don’t see any updates. Can anyone please help me how to find the username for egov site? Should I take this email as some positive action taken or denied? How many days it takes to update uscis account? I’m panicking as this is my new job and my EAD is expiring on Monday. Please guide.

This account I already have and I don’t see any update for my case other than biometric. I was trying to login to egov site where we can check status without login and looks like it should have different username unlike myaccount.uscis.gov

That’s what is confusing, when I click on signup on this site it redirects to my account.uscis.gov or when I click on forgot username and enters my email id it says emailid not found. Can you please share the signup link for egov site which doesn’t redirect to myaccount.uscis.gov?

Thank you! I tried this as well but it doesn’t proceed to next step without username and the field is disabled,I can’t edit and add the username. If you see the link it says SignUpStep2.do. I did try by changing the URL to SignUpStep1.do but in vain. :(

Username is the required field, it has character limit and not taking emailid as username

Hello ,
Today I received email saying We have taken an action on your case. What does this mean? It’s for my EAD. I am waiting since 9 months. I applied in February.
