Unfortunately, my timeline doesn’t show anymore, so I can’t post all the dates there. I don’t know if any of this actually helped my case, but I wanted to share my experience just in case it helps someone else. On May 27, 2026, I called USCIS to ask about my case. As usual, they told me to keep waiting because my case was still in line. Right after that call, I noticed an update in the app, almost like someone had opened my case while I was on the phone. On May 28, I contacted a live agent through Emma, and there was another update in the app. On May 29, I contacted Emma again because I wanted to submit an inquiry, but the agent told me to do it through the website instead, so I didn’t submit one. My app also updated again that day. After that, I stopped contacting USCIS. Then, on June 8, my case updated again with the same message saying that no visa was available. Exactly one month later, on July 8, the status changed to “New Card Is Being Produced.” My attorney told me it was better to wait before celebrating because she had a client whose case showed the same status but later changed back to pending due to a USCIS error. Thankfully, on July 9, my case was officially approved. I waited a long time for this moment. I know how frustrating it is to keep waiting and feel like you’re in the dark.
