effect of retrogression on follow to join case (i-824)
I have applied follow to join for my spouse, and I got green card via eb2 (employment based). My priority date is in year 2019.
I am confuse how retrogression impacts on our application. Will my spouse get interviewed once i-824 got approved. Or do we need to wait for priority date become current.
If yes, should I look at EB2 or F2A priority date?

yes its going to impact follow to join too but the waiting line for i824 is separate from the line of i130 if we talk about getting into interview line.
I would suggest you to wait till October new fiscal year. I’m sure we are going to have a good news soon.
i have a friend follow to join pd 2016 and she is still waiting. my pd is 2/2020.
