If you start working for your sponsor u have to use EB3 EAD because STEM EAD will only be applicable for related fields not unskilled.

Talk to a lawyer... not your agent or their lawyer They would explain to you EB3 is adjudged based on future employment. And you have a solid reason to not start working for your employer yet. USCIS issued you same STEM OPT and you want to see it through. No one will fault you for this except BDV and their demonic agents

as long as you don’t use your eb3 unskilled EAD, you are allowed to use your STEM OPT EAD.Once you use your eb3 EAD i.e. once your employer verifies i9 for your eb3 EAD you are no longer in F1 so the STEM OPT EAD becomes void.If you have STEM OPT and have a STEM job thats gonna wither the possible upcoming recession I’d say use your STEM EAD till the retrogression improves.Also, do not use your eb3 EAD and STEM OPT EAD concurrently, thats a big nope.If you plan on getting a second job even if its a job related to your major use your eb3 EAD and work full time for your sponsor, work second job on the side.

@Vympel GRU has said it all. USCIS adjudicates I485 based on the premise that you want to work with your employer once your GC gets approved. Applying for EB3 EAD was not really necessary but done by Agents to protect their clients (employers). Agents will do what is best for them and the employer... you literally come last in the pyramid of things... even your money takes priority over you and they got that already. Do what is best for you! I held them off for 7months till my STEM OPT expired as I told BDV I have to complete my OPT and they didn't object. If I had longer time for my STEM I wouldn't have started this slavejob. Do what is best for you... you are the only one with your own interest in this situation. Agents like BDV just want to take your money and still sell you off at no cost to the employer! See the contract they send to you to start working with your employer and it's nothing short of a slave contract... YOU CANNOT OBJECT TO ANYTHING YOUR EMPLOYER DOES... YOU MUST WORK ANY SHIFT.. ANY HOUR... WEEKENEDS... WEEKDAYS.. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING YOU MUST OBJECT TO. ALL TOTALLY AGAINST US LABOR LAWS. But they know they can only do this to desperate immigrants Run your STEM OPT to the end!

They didn't ask... from my experience... They sent multiple msgs and I ignored altogether replied one time after like 3weeks and told I can't resume till nwxtyear January They did not object They just said I should a date in January which I did

That's all they do... try to scare you. You need to give them a good excuse... reaffirm them you know your contract that you have to work with your employer and you will! You are also looking forward to starting but you need to sort something out blah blah Don't give them the vibe you don't wanna start at all
