Hi Wahab, is your place of birth Pakistan? Also, what RFE you got? I got RFE for Birth certificate (even though i sent them my BC in arabic and with certified english translated document) I was born in Kuwait with Pakistan nationality. EB2-1 and PD Nov 11, 2022. I can only send them the same documents related to my BC that I sent them with i-485.

@BL D did your birth certificate created at time of birth ? if not than get an affidavit from anyone in your family who were present at time of birth. or school certificate with complete birth date on it as a second evidence

@wahab waqar I submitted a document that I my relative got it from Minsitry of health in kuwait. Wouldn’t that be sufficient? Along with certified english translation copy that was also got attested and certified too by ministry of health

@BL D exactly, so if your relative got that document for you than it must be recently created right? USCIS want BC that created at time of birth, if you don’t have it than you need additional evidence.

pakistani, eb2, applied in april, 2023, pd april 2022. still waiting for i485 😑 .. not sure why they cant do first come first serve.. congrats though

@wahab waqar I only have it’s soft copy that is like pretty beat up in looks and with old format ( not one pager but 3 pages) so not sure if they will accept that. I will try its translation and certify and see if it works

@BL D check with your attorney, i am pretty sure they know best. My attorney asked for additional evidence so i sent Intermediate certificate with my application .

@wahab waqar i got medical rfie , do u know how much time it will take after submission?

@wahab waqar not sure if Intermediate certificate will suffice the proof of Birth country as it’s not showing on that. it’s only showing date of birth. But i will send that also to my attorney. My attorney is saying that what we have sent initially should be good. They are asking bcz they might have misplaced it as at times they are careless about documents and misplace them.

@BL D what is the date of creation on you birth certificate that you submitted? is it recent or is it created at time of birth ?

@wahab waqar it was created the time of birth. it’s pretty old format like in the form of a booklet. and then I requested my relatives to get the new one but it came out as “extracted from original birth record” instead of “birth certificate”

@BL D did you attached the copy of old booklet one ? even if it was in arabic ?
