I have my PD as July 2024. I have not got approval for I-140; still pending adjudication. I am considering upgrading PP. Should I file for status adjustment whilst waiting on it.

@MG S If you filed the I140 petition as July 2024; Yes!, You can file it while waiting on it. And yes, I recommend you upgrade PP. But you can also consider in July 2026 your petition will have 24 months. Maybe it means they will take any action in your case soon. Anyway, I recommend you upgrade to PP.

@J G thanks. do I need to fill additional form in such situation if I am filing for adjustment of status?

@MG S Only i485. you can also file i765 + i131 (optional).

Before going to PP. you should consider congressional inquiry first if you are living in USA.

same here. My priority date is July 2024; however, I haven't received any update since filing my petition.
