EB2-NIW
Hello everyone,
Has anyone here gone through the EB2-NIW visa process, especially if you're an engineer living outside the country? My brother recently received a call from a company claiming to assist with this visa type. How can we be sure that this company is legitimate and not a scam? What steps should we take to verify their credibility?
Could you please share your experiences and any tips on how to navigate this process safely? What red flags should we watch out for?
Thank you for your help!

@Ab H did your brother has an advanced degree, in STEM that is of US interest. those information could be easily checked online by googling. Also make sure that he has strong evidence like scientific publications and citations (which are usually need to be impactful with at least 200 citations overall), conferences, clear contributions. You can also check out the company itself online. their offers….that kind of info would help to know the credentials of the company

@Ab H Don’t go with any comapny unless it is well known company or someone you know did the visa with them.
NIW need a specific profile in a national importance field. If he did researchers in his field, that would be very helpful to get it done but some profiles don’t need to have a research background to get it done.

always be skeptical of companies reaching out to you especially the ones that offer legal services.
if your brother thinks he deserves NIW or EB1 then seek the companies yourself..Chen law firm is one of the reputable one.
