I saw a case where someone upgraded to Premium Processing, and just 5 days later an RFE was issued. It almost feels like the officer didn’t really go through the petition and just sent an RFE right away to buy more time to review the case.

If the pause for 75 countries lasts long enough, it will clear the EB-2 backlog along with the AOS queue, so that when the ban is lifted, it will still be current. What do you all think?
