If your future depends on it, do your best and get it right on the first try! However, if you're just giving it a shot for any reason, then go ahead and try, just like applying for the DV Visa yearly, every October - November. It won’t hurt to apply!

@Kar NIW i140-Nov 2023’ are you getting update nowadays? all the website i used doesnt give any update for the previous 7-10 days.. can you share any thought of yours about it

@Ǣ M° For now the crawlers used by websites are restricted by the USCIS, so they ain’t able to update, in any of them, including this one! I sent via my Lawyer this week, an inquiry to USCIS, but I f got the generic answer, that they are “Taking longer than usual…” So we must wait, at the end, as of now the AVG is 12 months to get the 80% of cases reviewed, in my case I’m barely at the 11th. Also you can see there’s some people with 400days and UP, waiting. So I think if there’s no PP, we have to wait and pray for a sooner and positive outcome.

@Ǣ M° No answer yet, I’m still on 11months from my submission, and I think, I have a couple of months ahead to get an answer, the average time is 12months to reach the 80% of cases reviewed and it looks the time might increase as there’s no movement at all. So for now I’m just praying to be lucky enough to get a sooner answer and blessed enough for it to be positive. So we’ll see… • BTW, the inquiry to the USCIS, after getting the generic response, didn’t seem to work out.
