@T L what is your country of Chargeability? Also they just approved your I140 in Feb, not sure why the interview. For India current cases are put on Pending, hence mostly dependent on Country as well.

@Ana Oliveira yes, everything was submitted. But if they needed it again, they would send RFE. Interview is rather unusual.

@Yas I I'm EB2-1. I don't expect to have an interview. my case is pretty straightforward. Emma told me my case was transferred to Baltimore field office from NBC about 5 weeks ago.

@H H my case is very straightforward and yet Ive been chosen for an interview.

Nor to worry… FO’s will pick some cases to clarify in person… you can call USCIS and check the date of interview.

I received a letter from FO for interview last week and my case didn’t change status. It will be August 9th. I wasn’t expecting for it… I think very difficult they waived it after they send the notice from FO. My case was at NBC… Any thoughts?

@MaB F hi! yes, I attended the interview. They flagged my case mistakenly, the whole process took 5 mins, the officer didn’t need anything from me because I should not have been there in the fist place. He approved me immediately (the interview was on 8/28) but because EB1 category ran out of visas on 8/27, my case went to pending status. I am extremely frustrated, I waited for 8 weeks for the interview that was not needed as officer said and now need to wait until after October 1st.

@T L OMG I understand. It is frustrating. The good news is that you got the approval already. I didnt know they tell you right away. I thought you need to wait for the answer. Now I guess soon after Oct 1 you get everything without the doubt, you already know your case was approved. Mine is in 2 weeks....lets see. Congrats.

@MaB F good luck with your interview. I am sure it will go nice and easy. Re approval, the officer said to me that he is approving the case now. He was very nice officer.
