EB1c I-140
Hi everyone 👋
I filed my I-140 under the EB-1C category on Nov 27, 2024, and I’m still waiting with no updates so far.
I’m debating whether it’s worth upgrading to premium processing, but I’ve heard that a lot of EB-1C premium cases are getting RFEs, which makes me hesitant.
For context, I do have an approved I-140 under EB-2 from 2016.
Looking to hear insights or experiences from anyone who’s been in a similar situation. Thanks in advance!

Could you clarify why you needed EB1-C when you already had EB-2 approval in 2016?

I qualify for EB1-C because I worked outside the U.S. for more than one year in a senior managerial role with a qualifying multinational company. This meets the specific EB1-C eligibility requirements. My prior EB-2 I-140 approval from 2016 is separate and doesn’t affect EB1-C eligibility
