EB1A AOS - Transferred to Brooklyn Field Office Over a Month Ago — Anyone with Similar Experience?
Hi everyone, My EB1A Adjustment of Status (Form I-485) was transferred to the Brooklyn Field Office NY (Non Local) a little over a month ago, and I haven’t heard anything since. Just wondering if anyone here has had a similar experience — if your EB1A AOS was transferred to Brooklyn, how long did it take to get approved after the transfer? I’d really appreciate it if you could share your timeline or any insights. Trying to understand what to expect moving forward. Thanks in advance!

They sent me NOID and have withdrew my case after taking to few attorneys.

@Wado Fukai that’s so sad!! I’m curios what the concerns were with your I-485. You had an approved I-140 via EB1A. Care to share a bit about what the issue was and the date they sent the NOID?

@SP SP it was unfortunate situation. I had both asylum and EB1A approvals. I applied on EB1A base and they sent me NOID that pending asylum isn’t a lawful status so I am not eligible for adjustment on EB1A base. I talk multiple layers and they almost ripped some money from me and I ended decided to withdraw the petition and had applied on asylum base.

@Wado Fukai , so sorry to hear that. that must’ve been a bummer after coming this long. I saw a similar thread on Reddit by a user “beautiful-buy-7051” almost same scenario as yours. EB1A and asylum cases
