EB1 NIW
I submitted case alongside a premium processing fee, uscis received it since 20th December 2023 but they wrote that they received only $700 and didn’t give any account on the premium fee paid. I called uscis several times sent the email, after emails sent to them case status changed to “case is being actively reviewed” and it’s 11 days today since case is new actively reviewed and 29th day since I received a notice that my application was received.
I went to the money order vendor that I used, they said the $700 is taken by uscis but the $2500 is open since Dec 20th
Anyone knows what might be happening ?

@J D issue stop payment on $2.5k and send new I-907 with new check of $2.5k. it seems your old check has been lost.

when this happens, most times it means they rejected the i907 because it was not properly filled. wait for you 797C which will come with the reason why the 907 was rejected.
also, people always fail to put form type and category, I.e: I-140 and EB-2 (E21 NIW). I don’t know if you didn’t put that, but that will result in them rejecting the 907.

I didn’t get no response further
I have sent in new payment yesterday
I will go ahead and stop the payment

pls don't stop, wait to receive 797C, uscis will not charge your money until application is received and cleared for processing.

After I sent the new payment, of premium processing last week I just got an email but the classification sought is incorrect as seen below
The Nebraska Service Center has received the following I-140 Petition for Immigrant Worker E21
Receipt Number: IOE#######
Date I-907 Received: 01/19/2024
Petitioner: ######## My name
Beneficiary: XXXXX
Classification sought: E21
I applied for EB1 not EB2 , this same mistake was on the initial notice that I received
when I I sent in the new payment, I wrote on it that my application is EB-1 not EB2 yet they send me this
meanwhile I already had EB2 approved last year July and I attached the approval notice to my submitted EB1 application on the front page before anything else
anyone knows what I should do again?
because I had forwarded the I-907 email to the premium processing email this morning which I already did when I received the I-140 notification two weeks ago but no response
