EB1-C India priority date July 2020
any one from India who has applied from EB1-C I-485 with approved I-140 recently.
priority date ported from EB-2.
applied in Dec-2024 and biometrics completed recently.
as per case history, it is currently with NBC and interview is waived.
1. what are the chances that interview can still be scheduled?
2. will the case be transferred to local field office? or is there any possibility of adjudication happening at NBC.
3. what is the reasonable timeframe to expect case decision?

2. usually case is transferred to field office before it’s approved . NBC approves only in the most exceptional circumstances.
3. reasonable timeframe as per USCIS is 1-2 years. those who got it under 8-9 months (especially those who applied between March to august 2024) should consider themselves very very fortunate .

how did you determine your interview is waived? online status details to last step post biometrics for everyone. if Emma says it ask multiple people over and over until you know it’s right

EB1C are much faster than other cases from what I have seen. so hopefully soon.

Based on what I have seen on reddit, here and my own experience, if the EB1C case is straight forward and is approved by NBC directly, it takes about 3.5 to 4 months. If it goes to field office (which it would seem many EB1C AOS don't) then it will take longer and will be dependent on the field offices backlog
