EB1 approved - Totally inefficient centers
EB2NIW I140 approved in 2018. EB1B approved in 2019 and reapproved again in 2021 due to job change. I485 filed in June 2021 -and approved in Oct 2023z Took so long. Sending twice the medical and transferred through 3 service centers. The timeline showcases the total inaptitude of USCIS and chaotic situations inside the agency. For those friends who got approved don’t thank USCIS. It’s you who made yourself worthy! Take it with pride

@T W Congratulations. I am waiting since August 2022 @ Texas. My EB-1A was approved last year in September 2022. My I-485 case is yet to be transferred from Texas as Texas does not do final adjudication of I-485 case is what I learnt last year.

@GreenCard EB1-1A No. To be honest I think there is a big mess in the service centers.

I have lots of weird things with my case. I filed to Texas and was then transferred to MO after the first year, it requested for medical exam and I sent back. never heard back until I learnt my cases were transferred to California and they requested for medical again because previous medical were expired. and I received another very weird letter saying my case was transferred to MI again. however the medical was requested by the new California center. Send medical again. and they didn’t send any receipt, meanwhile the status of wife’s EAD card was updated to case pending while it had been approved a year a ago. we didn’t apply to extension). no way to reach out to them. it’s a giant mega chaos in their offices. They don’t even bother to inform applicants timely about the precise status with case pending for multiple years.

@S SS Texas is a black hole. they dispatched their cases to other centers because they don’t have enough bandwidth. my cases had been transferred to 3 centers. the 2nd didn’t do anything.

@T W I have stopped doing Emma chat for more than two months now. I figured out it’s useless because they don’t want to give any details. They just send the messages which one can check online from USCIS case status. Sometimes they abruptly disconnect.

Emma is just a chatbot that dispatch people to the right webpage for people don’t know anything about uscis. it won’t connect to the detail information. go check if you could find more info by creating an account in the website and link your case. apparently you are much overqualified for using Emma if you are filing in this category

go reach out to local representative and ask them to inquiry about your case. it’s much more efficient and easier. UScis must give a reply if it’s coming from local house representative

@T W Thanks for the suggestion. Actually I tried once in June this year with local Congressmen. Nothing much they could do apart from just sending an email to USCIS. The reply came that USCIS is overwhelmed with a deluge of applications to process. But will try again.
