EB1 - priority date current in January. Case transferred to NBC two weeks ago
Does anyone have experience with priority date becoming current in next visa bulletin ( had retrogressed last year) and case being adjudicated pretty quickly?

I am in the same boat. My PD is Dec 2017. Case was transferred from TSC to NBC in Dec second week. Awaiting next steps.

when did you apply ? if we had applied before the recent retrogation when the dates were current or past of our PD would it processed without delay ? or does that also need to wait for dates to become current ?

same boat and trying yo find same thing. we have to wait at least till it becomes current

how do we know if the case is assigned to a field office or NBC?

@Sai Ram - so how to differentiate between the statuses like “case remains pending - temporary pausing - visa number not available” etc. with our situation (PD was current during application but retrogressed since then). right now mine states finger prints applied. how is yours / how about others ?

@shar s : You can’t see this online. You need to check with Emma and connect with a live agent and ask if your case has moved to your local office or not. only they can tell you about this. this is not reflected online.

@Sai Ram: I just asked “Can you please tell me if my case is at my local field office or not”. Your next question could be “is there any indication that my interview has been waived”

@Naveen Vijay what is your PD? when did you apply? my i485 is still in fingerprints applied as well. applied July 2023/ biometrics Aug 2023. PD: Aug 2018 (eb1a and captured my eb2 date).

so @H S - considering your PD is Aug 2018 - based on @Piyush k ‘s comments on PD to be current during 485 processing - you are current right ? I heard something like Country limit visa number. may be that’s what is holding it as the dates are cleared for you.

@Naveen Vijay yes I was current but it retrogressed. I will be current again in Jan 2024.hopefully they will review my case soon.

Lawfully analysis suggests that there should be an update after case transferred in about two months or so. I’m optimistic

Same boat PD June 2023 eb1 c one month now at nbc from Texas center for I485. current all those months.
