Are you from ROW? not from India/China?
Anon SMay 1, 2022
I’m from ROW and I think my case wasn’t transferred to a field office because I checked with EMMA a few days before the approval and it was at NBC. I’ll update the thread once I read my approval letter
zingo seamerMay 1, 2022
Yes. Nebraska transferred majority of ROW cases to NBC and that getting approved quickly.
Anon SMay 1, 2022
They’re not bothering to transfer india/china petitions that are current?
zingo seamerMay 1, 2022
Yes. Transfer data look like.

Anon, Congrats! it was just one month after your I485 transferred to NBC? Your iI765 was even approved after i 485. My i 485 was just transfered from Nebraska to NBC yesterday and all of mine were receipted in Apr 2021 and my I765 has not been approvrd yet.
Anon SMay 1, 2022
My EAD petition actually didn’t get approved, it looks like you’ll probably get your green card before your EAD. I’m guessing (and hoping) your I-485 will be approved in about a month after transfer. A friend whose I-485 case was also transferred to NBC got a RFE for medicals after a month. Good luck!

Hi Anon, very hefoful info! My family feel a little relieved after knowing the transfer to NBC. Actually it was notified by Lawfully first. I like it!!!!
My attorney does not see there is any reason to receive RFE and all medical exam already submitted with I485/765/140/131 in Apr, 2021. I am so excited because there is no update of our cases since USCIS recorded our Biometrics in Sep 2021.
Just curious- do you expect our I485 will be adjudicated by NBC instesd of transfering to FO? Thank you again!
Wenbing LinMay 1, 2022
very HELPFUL!
Anon SMay 1, 2022
Just because it’s sent to a FO doesn’t mean your adjudication of I-485 will be slower necessarily. They are transferring workload to other field offices with an interview waiver for cases (where you don’t need an interview) and they may then adjudicate your case. What will slow you down is if you need an interview, but I’m not aware of how/why/when they transfer to field offices/waive an interview or not. I hope you get your approval soon.
