EAD UPDATE
I just received my SSN card in the mail! EAD was approved May 9th and delivered May 19th. I went into SSA office on May 31st to request my number. Took me 1 week and 2 days to get my SSN card.
Piece of advice - once you receive your EAD, DO NOT SIT & WAIT for your SSN card to come to you - even if you checked the box to receive one with your EAD. Go directly to the SSA office and request your number OR ask if your documents were sent over by Immigration. Good luck 🍀

congrats 🎉👏.... I always suggest ppl do the same. I went into the SSA 2 days after receiving my EAD.

hi..did they tell you it may take up to 4 weeks? they told me they need to verify first..

@Nina F they told me 4 weeks if I didn’t get it in 2 weeks. I guess the additional 2 weeks was just to verify my info with DHS.
