EAD through marriage - NBC
hey all I am really worried. I have a job offer with a start date for March 14, 2022 and I am waiting for my EAD to be approved. I have a priority date of July 30, 2021. My processing center is NBC and my field office is Chicago.
I am seeing some other peoples processing time and seeing that they have been waiting since 2020 for their EAD to be approved and I am getting very scared. Do you think I can get the EAD by March?

yes I did my bio Sept 21, 2021. it’s been in review since then. my I-485 application is currently ready to be scheduled. really hopeful that I get EAD in February

Most likely July filers we gonna get approved by the end of February. July 26th here, IOE** NBC

how do you raise a case inquiry when its within a timeline since they extended timeline to upto 12 months now

I asked my senator, filled out their paper and included explanation of letter. is that enough or they will need some hard evidence to make any impact?

June 7 IOE waiting for I 131 to be approved since bio Aug 15. I’m thinking about asking for expedite but I’m afraid if denied just make my case take longer

I’m June 2021 & still haven’t received EAD or interview. It’s frustrating!

hey max - I would try to expedite. they will ask for evidence and you can put the job offer there. in any case, you should be getting it until end of Feb. Check Visa Journey, but I think the estimate is they are processing July 8th now. im july 26th - but think I got it because of expedite.
expediting doesn’t make it take longer - it’s like a separate process. worse case scenario they deny the expedite
