yes

it will say for work only since it came with the work permit but when you get your green card you go back to the social security office so they can take the for work only off it will be the same number but you will be a resident an if you wish to become a citizen in the future you still have to go back again to get it updated from resident to citizen

filed everything together sent all the evidence I could possibly send my wife in the military we have a child together we have a stuff in our name an so forth I’m living in Colorado so my field office will be in Denver CO

hopefully them just give you a date soon or you become one of the lucky ones weh them interview get waive

hopefully i get something soon need to get a job but jus a tuff it out spoke to my lawyer an she told be person are having there interviews waived once there case has enough evidence an all the paperwork including the medical which they have for me so she said it’s a possibility but not a 100% an I’ve seen someone on the app with the same FO getting waived

when they schedule you for interview and then cancel in the same day what does that mean. they say unforeseen circumstances. but yet the person recieve the letters

I’m asking for someone. they scheduled them on feb 22 and couple minutes later they deschedule it. buy the recieve the cancellation letter today and ups pickup his EAD card today to deliver

when I was living in Connecticut it was much better the Caribbean community was large

I see ppl who visit jamaica but only ever meet 1 other jamaican here

yeah, I got family in philly and when I was there before I moved here with my wife there was alot of jamaicans and Caribbean ppl there

@javi t. I called my ssn office and they say the ssn I get with my ead will be the same one until I become a citizen. I have been doing so research and as long as you are a citizen or permanent resident you get a unrestricted ssn, if you have temporary work permit you get a restricted ssn that says work only and if it's not work related you can get a restricted ssn that says not valid for work.

I found that based on your category like mine which would be (C09) cause my EAD is based on adjustment of status they'll treat my ssn application as a permanent resident and give me a unrestricted ssn which I won't have to change until I become citizen

but, once the EAD gets to me by Monday according to usps I will call and make an appointment and ask all these questions when I go to the ssn office and let yall know here

@ Shane I have a sister which recently got her paperwork but she got her EAD first when she go the GC she had to go back an remove the for work only it will be the same number it’s jus in a different category in the system when my wife turned citizen she had to go back to get it updated from permanent resident to us citizen it was the same number they jus did a new card
