I live in NYC. After being told i had to wait 16 months for my renewal, I took matter into my own hands, I went through congressman to expedite; A week later, i received an RFE to upload an colored image of a photo ID and some disposition papers from a recent arrest. After uploading a day later, I was approved!! If they tell you to wait an absurd amount of months, NEVER GIVE UP!! Do everything you can or they will just push your case to the side!

how do you go through congressman ? what’s the steps I filed I-485 July 2022 they approved my ead and AP Dec 2022 sense then I haven’t received no approval for 485 other then my case was updated to show fingerprints were taken sense September 2022
