When did you do biometrics last? In 2020 as well? They might consider it too long? We did ours in August 2020 and got our EAD renewal approved last week. We did not have to redo biometrics though.

@sa Be yes I did the bio in 2020 but they said they will reuse my bio and suddenly this morning I see bio schedule again

Yes, they used our 2020 biometrics. I feel it’s often super random, what they request and depends heavily on the person working on your case. Also it might just switch back again as well.

@Jude: Ours is also pending since June 2020. AOS from L visa in category EB-1. Totally normal…

they send rfe for I-130 since June 2020 and we reply back since then no update on I-485 and I-130 and I just think they can reuse the bio it’s funny

@i was made for this will definitely go for it, I just want to knowing there is anyone in that same shoe may be it always help cases when they issue another bio

beside uscis account updates are errors sometimes

@jude the rfe on I-130 was initial evidence request birth certificate, tax refund , joint account that’s all

sometimes because FBI or other agency who do the background check can’t use the biometric. it happened, not often year usually doesn’t matter. my first biometric was 2018. they reused it in 2020 and they reused it again in 2022
