EAD renewal
Hi guys!
I just wanted to vent a little here and remove my anxiety.. I sent in EAD renewal application on June 2nd and I still have not received a receipt in my mail and I’m getting so nervous cause my current EAD is expiring on August 3rd… Im afraid I will lose my job and have no financial income. I am completely alone here in America and have no family to turn to so if I lose my job I will be completely screwed lol…
Hoping I get at least a receipt or something so I can keep my job😭😭😭 I pray for everyone out there in a similar situation 🙏🏼 I know God is working His ways and have a plan for me. Let’s keep our faith strong brothers and sisters. Thank you for reading!

you will get it soon , I applied on Jan 2023 and got it on April 2023 (my notice) also you EAD card still valid for 180 day after it get expired.

@hope hope My lawyer said I would need a new receipt for my renewal application for my expired EAD to be extended 180 days..? do you know if this is true?

you can write to vermont service centre, or just to know the receipt number you can chat with emma, they provided receipt number to me on chat earlier, you should try

@JWWM ❤️🩹 hello, friend. I got a receipt for my renewal under c10. I’m frustrated cause the same doesn’t state anything about extension policy and in the code section has “N/A”. I’m in suspension of work and my employer is threatening termination.

@marcus ss hi! I’m so sorry you are going through that, it must be so frustrating and stressful.. I’m sorry for my short knowledge on C10 as I got mine under C09 but my receipt itself was an automatic extension of 540 days. Below is what I found on google. Were you able to apply for renewal before your EAD expired?
Who is eligible for 540 day automatic EAD extension?
The rule applies to those who submitted renewals of EADs prior to the expiration of their current EADs and remain pending as of May 4, 2022, or who filed between May 4, 2022 and October 26, 2023, and whose EAD has not expired or whose current 180-day auto-extension has not lapsed.
