EAD production/delivery time
I was approved on 09/29 for my EAD via letter under documents tab, I spoke with EMMA and was informed that it was sent to production on 09/30. My app is still not updated to reflect this progress, so my question is how long after the card is sent to production should I expect to receive it in the mail?

@Mrs. Blair in the mean wine while waiting apply for SSN if u haven’t received it in mail that takes about 2-3 weeks also

@Kenoka martin thanks for your reply. How do I apply for SSN without having the physical EAD? I would really like to get the SSN asap as my driver’s license is due to be renewed but I was waiting for the SSN to add it to it so I could get a permanent license instead of the temporary one I had

@Mrs. Blair when u did the application did u check that you want them to issue u a ssn? if u did u will get it in the mail. if not u have to wait until you receive the work permit and go to your ssn office

@Lee bear I did check it on the form and coincidentally after posting this I checked my informed delivery for today’s mail and the SSN is there and the approval letter, no card yet though as far as I saw

Your timeline was Aug 2022 and mine was Sept 7th 2022. I actually reached out to my congressman and it took 2 days for uscis to respond. On that day they responded is the same day it was approved. Green card coming next because they just transferred it to my field office on Fri
