I told them huge financial loss. I sent them evidence of huge financial loss and immediately it got approved. although, it took them a month after approval to update my status as card is produced.

My lawyer emailed VAWA Vermont Service Center.

I really hope I don’t have to wait more than a year Bcuz it’s already frustrating waiting 7 months already

I did that but still no response yet...it's been so frustrating

must be, do you have a lawyer on your case, who can help you expedite as well

yes I do,

your lawyer should have expedite for you from at least around 8 months, let them deny it at least you would feel much better to know something was tried on your behalf

Just google VAWA Vermont Sevice Center, you’ll see their phone number and email address. I don’t know the policy here if it allows pasting such information. .

if you have a lawyer, he/she should know their email too.

I filled Oct 25, 2021. Then I realized I will be loosing my job if my EAD isn’t produced on time, so I expedited Jan 2022. they sent me receipt Jan 13. it got approved Jan 18. I then got an email this morning my card is being produced

my lawyer did all that and CC-ed my in the email requesting my EAD be expedited

@Out Lander, how long after your expedite request was approved did your ead get approved. it's been over 1.5 months since my expedite request was approved but still no decision on my ead and yet I have been waiting since July/2021. This is too much😢😭😭😢
