EAD for Healthcare Worker
Hi everyone,
For those who made EAD expedite request based on being a healthcare worker, I was wondering how long it took you to hear back after you fax the documents. Also, do USCIS send a confirmation email if they received the documents? Or not?

They do not confirm receipt of faxed document for expedite request.

I submitted a request two months ago and didn't hear anything since then

I requested expedite and got an email from Uscis 8 days later said they will accommodate my request for expedite and my case is under expedited process but It’s been a week and I still waiting for the actual approval

Hi @J C @Ahmad ALjarrah @L.A F @a hly ! I am a healthcare worker, too and am thinking about expediting. Could you please share how much you paid for expedite request? I searched online and found its between 1500-2500 but couldn't find one certain answer. Thank you!

Actually I didn't pay anything the attorney from my employer behalf paid everything. They were responsible for the process of GC from A-Z

@E K you dont have to pay anything. I expedited my with Emma. I chatted with live agent and asked to expedite my I765 reason because I’m a healthcare worker and I have a job offer. You can try it’s no cost
