EAD family based finally approved!
After many months of waiting and being 4 months living in DC with 0 salary, I finally got my EAD approved and can finally get back to work! I am really excited and hope that this gives some people hope around the duration of the process these days.

so the timeline was, case scheduled for interview the 20th of August, and September 10 ordered new card
