EAD Extension and Latest Situation
Hello everyone, I hope all of our cases get approved soon. This process has been quite lengthy and challenging. We have no idea how much longer it will continue. We don't know whether the offices will close due to the upcoming Christmas holiday or if the files will once again be in limbo. My I485 application is still pending with a priority date (PD) of March 11, 2022, and it was updated to 'actively reviewing' status last week (Nov 3). And I130 it was updated to 'actively reviewing' status last month (Sept 28). Question is related to the automatic extension of EAD. What kind of application do I need to make? Do I need to fill out the I765 form again? When I checked the I9 website, they have mentioned that EAD is automatically extended. Do I need to pay a fee during the application? Do you think I should wait or should I apply for an extension? P.S. My EAD card has less than 180 days until it expires. RFE: I693 Medical Exam FO: San Antonio, TX

i did I-131 renewal and for that i had to apply new I-131 but without paying additional fee. in the case of I-765, if you remember you should have received a bar code like paper when you received this EAD card. you should include that in your renewal package and send a new package with I-765 copy of previous card and that barcode paper and i-485 receipt paper.
