EAD delivered
I was so happy the day I found out that my EAD application was approved. I was crying. But today marks 500 days since we applied for the I-130/I-131/I-485 together and I applied for EAD late because I had an EAD based on OPT which expired in July. But somehow I don’t feel overjoyed, I feel grateful that I can go back to work but I just feel tired of waiting.

@Emmanuel okocha I am. I have been unemployed for almost two months now so that does hurt. But I have also been waiting for over 40 days since interview. so yeah it all feels uncertain

@Emmanuel okocha you need to reach out to congressman in your area, it should not be taking this long. I waited 3 months for my OPT based EAD.

@Emmanuel okocha I think at first all cases go to NBC. Our case was transferred to Washington field office in June 2024.

Basically close to where you live. We had our interview at the Washington field office

someone people still get approved at national service center without going to field office right

I really don’t know. I think its very specific. Some people might just get approved without interview or transfer to FO. I hope we all get approved soon🤞🏽
