EAD CARD
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to come in here and ask if anyone is receiving any updates from USCIS. it’s so sad the amount of time one has to wait for an update. I filed my VAWA is 2022 and ended up filing for my work permit separately early on this year and all I’ve gotten is a receipt notice. Barely holding on at my job with that anymore because they keep asking for an update or atleast an acceptance letter stating that my work permit is approved if not I am going to be let go. I do not even know what to do anymore.

hi there, same thing here I submitted my EAD renewal early October 2024 still waiting for a response. one year passed and still counting. hang in there

Have you tried contacting your congressman?

if you read the EAD receipt notice you will find that your EAD extended for 540 days automatically

@Mike mike yes I keep saying that to my job but coz my work permit card expired in 2023 the 540 days are up

@Don't stress fulljoy life .. hi I filed my VAWA in 2023 and then I filed separately for my work permit in April this year. I have only gotten the receipt notice of the one I filed in April. and my VAWA case is still saying it was transferred to a new office
