can’t you use your receipt and your alien number?besides that there is an auto extension of 540 days

@Charlie The Fantastic 5 no, it’s my first time applying so there’s no extension. And the receipt clearly stated “CAN NOT BE USED FOR WORK AUTHORIZATION”

same with me. but it hasn’t been 30 days. I got approved May 10 the approval letter sent May 10 same day and I still haven’t gotten anything on the mail about my approval letter. no news from my lawyer either. my social security office said my number had been sent since May 11 they do have my lawyer address. Still no update on uscis account about card being produced. just approval. I’m going on 18 days

@sandra mayela you can google social security administration near me and they’ll show you the closest in your area, you can either call them or go into them.

I called to ask how to do my last name change to my married named. then I just asked them if they had sent my ss# he look up my name and date of birth . he said yes id been made and is sent since may 11 since is a new number it takes 14 days. but today I did get notification that my card was produced finally. my EAD. so now I just wait more

@sandra mayela You can go to your nearest social security administration and just ask for it. I never received my social so I had to go apply/ask for it. I received it in like 5 days after I went to the office.
