Biden made an order last week to make 12/24 a federal holiday, hence the closure. you appointment was more than likely scheduled before the Order was signed.

I would take a picture and contact them. even though I think they will just tell you that it's too bad for you but anyways happy holidays. If they even bother to answer or maybe you get lucky and get actual person on the other end. it's wild how they don't give jack shit about us immigrants documented or non-documented. 2025 will be awesome for us immigrants I'm sure 😄

Yes we took a picture of it . and then we called USCIS CUSTOMER SERVICE but NO LUCK. Says there office is closed for holidays. I guess we will call on the 26th. I appreciate your response guys ,thank you

Go back there on the 26; calling them is a long process and will set you back in line.

uscis dont care about anyone they just do what they want … make sure u have evidence of their closure

I saw many posts about this, you should actually show up on the 26th with your appointment request. I’ve heard they will still complete your biometrics

no need to call USCIS just go there on the 26th and don’t reschedule it because if you do it’s going to take time. someone I know went to their office on holiday and later went the next day for biometrics and he got his fingerprints done because they know it was not his fault.

The same thing happened to me in New York City. I got the scheduled appointment in 24.

We went there at 7:10 am and got in but was told that Our schedule was cancelled (all that was scheduled for the 24th) and will be reschedule. And that we will have to wait for the new appointment letter.

You should go a few days earlier than the date they give you explain that yoare not available on the day they can assist you. mine was scheduled 12/26 l went on 12/16

USCIS they already scheduled me another biometric appointment.
