EAD approved for my son!
This morning when I checked my son's online account, in the documents section there was the approval letter for his EAD from Thursday 02/29. The case has not been updated but the same thing happened with my EAD, it changed until the card was produced.

@Ray Bless Thanks!! I'm not 100% sure but the documents section has always appeared in my account and my son's account.
