Humanitarian and financial loss to a person and company

I applied for an expedite and it was denied. I got an offer from a university and signed the contract to start in August 2023. My reason to expedite is financial loss as I need this job but it was denied. If you have any suggestion for me, I would be appreciated. I am planning to ask the university to write a letter how this will cause them a financial loss as well. I hope those help. I really need my EAD card not to have financial loss with three kids and so would be happy if you can suggest something for us?
