@sharda nice, first thing you need to do is to find your congressman, fill the form on his/her website(usually it is called help with federal agency). once you submit a form and put the help details you need from them. then wait until they get back to you. once you fill the form you can give them a call to double check and provide any other additional details.

On average 7 days. There have been instances where people have got it within 2 days after "card being processed"

When did you contact your congressman? Contacted mine on June 21, still waiting to hear back from Uscis

Last week. I am even not sure that it was approved due to their inquiry. still have not heard back from them

hi Pravin. can you please share timeline for your application? and which service center? I had applied for my spouse h4 and ead May 2020 (texas center). H4 got approved in May but ead is still pending. we have even contacted our state senator and submitted additional information and privacy document 3-4 weeks ago but have not received any update.

did your status change to expedite request approved? and when?

@ekun o, nope never. i am not even sure that they approved it due to ER. i have heard from many applicants that Nebraska started approving EAD for month Feb, pending asulym renewals

@atl atl, I filed for c08 ead renewal not sure if my timeline will be applicable to you. PD is 02/26/2021. actively being reviewd 07/07/2021, card was produced 07/07/2021

Hello there, would like to share my timeline for c08 category EAD renewal. Filed on 02/26/2021 and case was received the same day with the help of congressman. On Mar 3rd, 2021 sent me I797C form. On April 3rd, my previously taken biometrics were applied. On April 21st my case was pending for to be adjudicated. Silence… During this silence applied three times for the expedite request, received denial for both. Put another ER on 6/30 and contacted to my congressman to expedite my case (financial) again and never heard back from. July 7th case is actively being reviewed and approval decision. Not sure if ER or Congressman inquiry helped here. However I was reading forums and knew that people who applied for renewal under c08 category started receiving their EADs starting from June 2021. July 9th card was produced. July 12th card was picked by USPS July 14 card is delivered 🎊

Hi Parvin thank you for your post. I am also waiting for my EAD renewal. It’s been 10 months. May I know what exactly did your congressman do for you? Did he submit an expedite request to USCIS?

when I submitted my application his team helped me on getting acceptance the same day. after 4month or so i again reached out to ask for expediting and they submitted my ER to USCIS, still never heard from them.
