No, didn't expedite..I just contacted my local congressman.

I emailed them! I had to fill out a form and provide my paperwork.

hey Jess congratulations. ive gotten in touch with both the congressman and senator and have case workers contacting USCIS on my behalf so hopefully it works!! what was the process and timeline in Your case? TIA!

I had my Biometrics appointment Dec 16, contacted my congressman the next day to see if they could see where my case was at. The next day my status changed from received to interview ready to be scheduled. Today (12.23) I got an update that my EAD was approved. so it all happened with 5 business days. crazy. super stoked!

what form you filled out?

it was one that they provided, it was like a privacy form that you had to fill out. That form also had additional details of your case.

thanks Jess! you guys can just look up the congressman/congresswoman in your state. look them up and you will find their website, from there find a link for “help with an agency” and there will be a form to fill out. in alternative call their office and explain you’d like help making an inquiry on your case with USCIS. they will tell you what to do
