EAD and pending asylum
hey guys, i applied for asylum on August 2016 but havent heard back yet. also, i filed for EAD renewal on February 2023, still notning. Any advise?

Contact USCIS, ask for status update, or also inquiry via local congress. If you cannot wait anymore, you can sue USCIS for a delayed case as a Pro Se. You will get a decision within 60 days. Learn more about it writofmandamususcis.weebly.com

( about EAD) after you applied EAD , did you receive a paper in 3-4 weeks, if yes that will be your temporary EAD and you can work for 540 days until you get your card , so no need to worry about you working status

@Ey Ta 540 days extention doesn't apply anymore, uscis reverted to 180 days extention.back in November 2023.
