EAD and name change based on VAWA
Hi fam! I have a question in my mind that bothers me. I’m in the process of divorcing with my abuser and I filed my application already. I carry my ex’s last name and I will receive my work authorization with that name and after the divorce is it challenging to change the name on the document?

Once you divorced him/her, you can change your name. it’s not crime

easy to change name after divorce. You can have it on the divorce form.

Any updates for this? I am in a very similar situation. I just got divorced and I might need to change my last on my EAD. But don't know how to do it..
