ead and extension
so I applied renewed my EAD in October 2021 and I had a 180 day extension . it lapsed on May 2 2022 and I had to be terminated from work because I haven't received my Card as yet . and May 3rd 2022 the Head HR texted me this "The government is releasing tomorrow a ruling allowing a 540 day extension to documents instead of a 180. We believe this would allow you to keep working with us. Still interested?"
ofcourse i said yes and I was thrilled . I love my job it pays good and I was so stressed guys if you didn't know about this new rule it's starts today "May 4th 2022" please check if you qualify .

wow! you are so lucky to even have an organization that understands how USCIS works. Some of us this new rule doesn't help us, as we are still waiting for that initial EAD card ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

@Bindu Madichetty yes you qualify just go if you had 180day extension . just google the new law it's everywhere CNN , Forbes News, even on UsCis website

just an update everyone . I got rehired at my job . with. the 540 extension i rusume work 05/09
