my work permit will expire in April and my I485 just got transferred.
I’m trying to make an appointment with the attorney for renewal of work permit and they were supposed to call me from last week to schedule me but nothing so far. they want to charge me $750 plus fees. is there any one in here that has successfully applied yourselves? any advice?

you don’t need an attorney. you can do it yourself

I did it myself because I wasn't going to pay my attorney to do it again and I got through without any issues and it was sent to my home address

you can do it yourself love I did it myself after they filed my i765 in the c31 category when it should be c09. I ask them for the one they submitted and just change the category and refile it.

thank you guys! I agree the lawyers are only nice in the beginning once they get paid that’s it you won’t see them anymore only the paralegals
