E2 (A17) EAD California Service Center
Hi Everyone, I filed my application for EAD renewal in March, CSC, A17. I was wondering if there is any January/February/March filer that has been recently approved? #ead

@ Happy Scientist, i did not get mine approved. Hoping to hear good new because am in same date and same category. But again USCIS is not approving cases in the order they recieve. I think we all had seen this pattern in numerous cases. Few lucky folks are getting approved with 4-5 month while other waiting form 8-11 months.. strange but lets hope for the best. Thats the only thing we can do.

agree! Thatβs frustrating, but letβs be positive and hope we can get out of this nightmare in the next few days!

i read online that Wasden Banias (immigration lawyers) was preparing a class action for E2 visas. those being authorized to work incident to status they should not need an EAD. might be worth checking with them

from reading the news it seems like E2/L2 visa won't need an EAD anymore . settlement in the process with the USCIS
Ben GaloreNov 10, 2021
settlement official for L2 new guidelines to be published by USCIS will no longer require EAD for L2 (and E2 should be included). I-94 will indicate that it's usable for I-9 forms (same as an expired EAD with pending renewal )
