Duplicate of medical form for I-485 interview
I had submitted my medical forms at the time of my filing for I-485 (NIW-employment based) in August 2020. So it has been more than a year but within the two-year period of their validity.
My interview notice says that I should bring my sealed medical form unless it was submitted within the last year. Does anyone know if this is something I should be worried about? Have they changed their policy on the two-year validity of medical forms lately?

i thought they already extended to 4 years validity few months ago

only for a short period of time and now it’s back to two years! The interview paper says within the last year though

count it as 2 years from the day the doc signed your forms I believe

the medical form changed now and included covid-19 vaccine page and flu shot too as of Oct. so you might wanna do another medical, just to be on a safer side. What you will gain compared to the money is more. But you should be good if it is still within 2years but i would do a new one if i were you.

If you did not receive a courtesy letter/RFE after initial submission, you do not have to complete another medical.
However, if you are vaccinated against covid, take the card with you (original and a copy)…in the event it’s brought up by the IO. Proof of flu vaccination too…since this a new flu season.

hey guys, just wanted to give an update on this post: the first thing the interviewer asked was if I had a new medical with me, I said that the medical form I submitted should still be valid cause it’s within 2 years of submittion. I showed her my vaccination (and booster) card. she said that they have a new thing and they require the new medical form. but she’ll see if she can do without it. I was lucky and my case got approved on the same interview day.
as for questions, she basically confirmed everything that was already on my form.
