@zip hip CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Interview times for Juarez are about 1 year.
zip hipApr 15, 2024
@William u oh wow 1 yr isn’t that bad compared to what we have waited , thank you for this info
William UApr 15, 2024
@zip hip I completely understand you.
I also waited 3.5 years for my waiver.
Btw, head up, during the medical exam in Juarez your husband will be asked of drinking habits and if he has ever smoked marijuana or even though about smoking.
Admitting to any of the above may delay his visa in Mexico while he completes a drug or alcohol treatment.

@William u thank you so much
Alma CaneloApr 15, 2024
@William u so if my husband had an DUI in 2016 while the interview they ask him if drink what he suppose to answer?
William UApr 15, 2024
@i601A i601A Every document you submit through CEAC website must be taken to the interview. I doubt they'll ask for the affidavit of support at the embassy. Most common documents they'll ask for are; i-601A waiver, marriage certificate, criminal records .
William UApr 15, 2024
@Alma Canelo Your husband must answer all questions truthfully at the interview or medical exam. Remember the embassy already has a complete record of the applicant. If they catch you in a lie, they can deny the visa.
William UApr 15, 2024
@Alma Canelo I hate to say this but the biggest problem for your husband will be at the medical exam. "Every case is different," but there is a good chance that the medical examiner will diagnose your husband as an alcoholic and he will need to stay in Mexico to complete a treatment.
Wish you and your husband the best!
Alma CaneloApr 15, 2024
@William u thats what Im afraid of, but your right he just needs to anser the truth,
William UApr 15, 2024
@Alma Canelo Pray that it does not happen. I know in El Salvador, those medical examinera do it because they make money with the treatment.
My wife mentioned a case she read on Facebook, the beneficiary went to his medical and had a DUI from about 15 years ago and he got nailed for it.
Let's hope Mexico has medical doctors with integrity.
