Driver’s License
Hello,
I just want to ask if you are able to apply for a driver’s license without SSN? I am currently in Florida and awaiting for my papers to be approved?
I want to be productive like practicing how to drive so time will not be wasted.

yes… I’m not sure if Florida is same here in California. when I got my license, I applied first for student permit. I took exam to get student permit and because I don’t know how to drive and I took behind the wheel classes.

you can bring your 797 notice ( I-765 receipt ) , two forms on ID. since you don’t have a ssn I’m not sure what else you would need but it’s doable. Where in Florida are you located ?

K C you need to take your I485, 130,131, 765 …. old Driving license from USA or your country, 2 proofs of adress , if you r doing a marriged based green card u will need marrige license , husband’s driving license and passport , proof that husband is getting mails on same adress . i recieved my driving license in Pembroke Pines , Fl

many DMV offices accept walk in. Just go to one of the offices in the morning, take all your notices, proofs of address, all identity documents such as passport and birth certificate, and ask them if you can apply using the documents.

I’m a bit late, I’m in florida, is it a temporary paper DL they issue or the regular card DL?
