Driver license while I-485 and I-765 pending?
Hello Guys Hope y’all doing great I have an interesting question, Can you make a driver license while your case is pending? my PD for I-485 is June 09, 2021. (National Benefits Center) my biometric was July 12, 2021 And my PD for I-765 is July 15, 2021 ( NBC) I just want to know if you can have a Driver license while I-485 is pending. Thanks

as long as you have a valid passport and your work permit along with a proof of address you can get it.

Yes I renewed my license in MA with a pending I-485. The lady at RMV initially gave me a month lincense and said it can’t be extended an year. I then showed her the law on MA.gov which includes AOS applicants eligible for license renewal. Only then she accepted and granted me a 1 year license.

I W, which RMV did you go? I live in Ma as well and my license is about to expire.. I’ve heard people having hard time trying to renew it in here :/

C A Juan Lopez The one in Revere. Be prepared the staff may initially not accept your I485 receipt notice as eligible document for license renewal. As I said, politely and firmly showing the policy on MA.gov worked for me at the end.
