Does Uscis use the fingerprint photo to print it out on the GC
So I didn’t send passport photo size with the i485 and I got the appointment letter but they didn’t mention that they need passport photo size
So in case if they approved it, Do they use the fingerprint photo to print it out on the GC ?
( am gonna take passport photo size anyways but I don’t wanna ask the OI if he needs passport photo size to make him feel like am trying to push him to approve the case )

yes you need 2 passport size pictures.

They use your photo for the finger print

If it's your first GC they will use the photo when you went to biometric. If it's your second GC they gonna use the picture from your First GC.
