Does the ASC keep/return the AIW after Biometrics
Hi fam. I hope you can help answer this question. I went to my biometrics appointment last week and the officer did NOT keep my Applicant Information Worksheet (AIW) in which you fill out your name, DOB, country of birthday, etc. Are they supposed to keep that sheet or do they always return that to the applicant after the biomectrics are taken? Also, normally how long after the biometrics can I expect updates for my case? Thank you in advance! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

they will stamp it and return it to you signed. when you first get there, the front desk will give you another sheet to add up to the two you are having and thatโ€™s what they will take from you. so they will return the paper you took there to you.

When I did mine they return it to me as well. The only thing they did stamp my appointment notice with date and time. It really depends in terms of the update, since the biometric taken to do a background check on you, but usually ( before the pandemic) about 3-4 weeks. All the best

Thank you @jay jay and @adam t ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ. I just needed to make sure that my process went properly because I donโ€™t wanna waste time getting any errors fixed. The case processing time is long and arduous enough ๐Ÿ˜‚.
